Who We Are

PlumbingPark started in 2019 as a passion project, born out of frustration. Our founding team had spent years working in property management across South East England, and they kept running into the same problem: finding a reliable, qualified plumber was harder than it should be.

Too many directory sites listed anyone willing to pay a monthly fee. Reviews were gamed. Qualifications went unchecked. Homeowners were left out of pocket, or worse — with unsafe work carried out by unqualified engineers.

We decided to build something better.

PlumbingPark is a free directory connecting homeowners with vetted plumbers and Gas Safe registered heating engineers across Kent and South East England. Our mission is simple: make finding a trustworthy plumber as straightforward as booking a restaurant.

How the Directory Works

Every engineer listed on PlumbingPark has passed our verification process before their profile goes live. You won’t find anonymous listings here, or businesses paying to appear at the top of results.

When you search for a plumber in your area, you’ll see genuine profiles with real credentials, honest service descriptions, and verified customer reviews. You can contact engineers directly — there are no middlemen, no lead fees passed on to you, and no commission taken from either side.

It’s a directory that works for the people using it.

Our 3-Step Vetting Process

We don’t list every plumber who submits their details. Before any engineer appears in our directory, we carry out three checks:

1. Qualifications Check — We verify Gas Safe registration for any engineer working on gas appliances, and confirm relevant qualifications for specialist work such as unvented cylinders or commercial heating systems.

2. Insurance Verification — Every listed business must hold valid public liability insurance. We check this at the point of listing and monitor for lapses.

3. Review Monitoring — We require customer references at the application stage and continue to monitor reviews after listing. Any engineer with a pattern of complaints is investigated and may be removed.

What Makes Us Different

PlumbingPark is not Checkatrade. It’s not MyBuilder. Here’s why that matters:

We cover plumbing and heating only. That narrow focus means every engineer in our directory is a genuine specialist — not a general handyman who ticked a box.

We’re completely free for homeowners. No sign-up, no subscription, no hidden upsells. You search, you find, you contact.

We do not sell rankings. Engineers cannot pay to appear higher in search results. Position in our directory is based on location relevance and review quality, not marketing budgets.
